Our small mobile phone power bank rental machine for events can charge both an iPhone and Android mobile from empty to full charge using the built-in USB-C and Apple Lightning adapters. The battery capacity is 8,000mah which can charge an empty phone to 60% in under an hour and to full in approximately 1.5 hours.
Our larger freestanding power bank rental machines for big events and venues support up to 11,200mah or 65w batteries that have fast charging enabled. These can charge and iPhone or Android to 90% in 30-minutes or a Macbook or Windows Laptop that supports USB charging from empty to full.
We'll need 1 power socket and that's it. Our kiosks will connect to the internet using our 4G IoT network which means they run completely isolated away from your venue's internet. They can be connected to WiFi if 4G connectivity is compromised.
For our small desktop 12-slot power bank rental machines you can upload pictures and videos to the screen and we can play them as digital signage when the machine is in stand by mode.
Our larger 24-slot and 48-slot machines can be wrapped in branding on 3 sides as well as offering digital signage opportunities for you to promote your sponsors and event activities.
We can brand the batteries to your event logo or sponsored logo. However, we only offer this for large events as we need a minimum order to make it affordable for you.
When an attendee wants to rent a power bank to charge their phone they must use the chip and pin device to authorize payment. This can be done using their phone if they have Apple or Google Pay or by bank card.
Doing so will pre-authorize a deposit of £25 from their bank. The money is not taken from their account, it is just put on hold.
When they return the power bank to any of our machines the cost of rental is calculated by the time the power bank has been used. We then deduct that fee from the £35 deposit and release the remainder.
If the attendee doesn't return the power bank within 24 hours, the attendee will pay the full £25 deposit as a non-return penalty.
We understand that people don't carry their bank cards anymore and rely on mobile phone payment. In most cases low battery anxiety will ensure that an attendee will take appropriate actions to not completely run out of battery on their phone.
However, in the case where an attendee doesn't have their bank cards and their phone is completely out of power, we can offer PayPal as a method of payment. Once received we can then manually release a battery to charge their phone.
Alternatively, if they don't have a PayPal account, we will provide temporary power for their phone in order to power it on to make a suitable rental purchase.
Yes we can sell you a machine rather than renting. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we can provide a quote for you.
