How much does your marketing services cost?

The honest answer is “it depends”. We know that is not really an answer to your question, but it really does.

Its not so much the cost of our time but the cost of creating marketing materials like videos and also your advertising budget, where you want to advertise, and how new you are to your target market.

If you’re new to your market, the first year is the hardest as you’ll have to spend more on finding and convincing people to attend your event.

Repeat events are easier to fill as you become more known to the market and word of mouth spreads. 

That said, your exhibitors will want to see new faces at each event, so you have to work to find the new attendees.

Typically, and event will reserve 10-25% of their overall budget to marketing activities. However, talk to us about your needs and means and we will work with you to find the optimal proposal that fits your budget and goals.

Do you have any standard fixed price marketing packages?

Unfortunately, every event is different even in the same industry topic. This means it is very hard to standardize packages because every event has different requirements.

That said, we do have a starting price for each package that we feel gives you the most value and minimum investment you should be budgeting for in order to achieve your goals.

We will however work with you to help you understand what we can offer you and break each component down into individual outcomes and costs so that you can choose what marketing activities you want us to perform.

Do you guarantee success?

What is success? This is quite subjective. 

We don’t guarantee that we will grow your audience by a certain amount, or ensure that your promise you that we will sell out your registration quota. That’s impossible.

What we do guarantee though is laser focussed and committed staff to ensure that together we give your event the best chance of being successful.

We do this through extensive planning and interviewing to ensure that we get a firm understanding from you of your event, your objectives, the types of people you’re after, where they might be, who they might work for, what they might be interested in, and what types of phrases or content is most likely to attract their attention.

Then we go to work.

When should I begin marketing my event to get the best outcome?

Event marketing if you were to plot it on a graph would look like a hockey stick.

It would show peak at the beginning when you announce your event, then reduce and flat line for a number of weeks or months until approx. 2 months before your event date where there would be a marked upturn in interest leading to an explosion in the 2 weeks before your event.

This doesn’t mean that you should wait and only market your event 2 or 3 weeks before its date.

You will need at least 4 months of consistent marketing prior to your event to manifest your event in attendee’s minds and then be persistent enough to force them to register.

For brand new events that are untested in the marketplace we recommend a minimum of 7 months marketing before your event as there will be a lot of effort to establish a foot hold and ranking on search engines.

Can we work together on marketing activities?

Sure. Just because you might be using us to market your event doesn’t stop you getting involved. We actually encourage it.

Hearing from the organizers is authentic and helps establish trust and empathy with your audience.

Can I pay in instalments?

We will give you a fixed price for our time broken down by week and month.

There will be variable costs if you want to include paid advertising or creation of specialist content like videos or radio, TV adverts etc. These we have no control over and will depend on several factors.

At the end of each month, we will invoice you for the time and materials used which you will be expected to pay in full.

All material costs will be quoted in advance and written approval from yourself obtained before they become chargeable. 

This working relationship means that we can grow your event together with mutual assurances.
