Does your badge scanning service work with other platforms?

Our badge scanning solution only works with the Just Attend platform. We have designed it to be an all-in-one solution for your event needs. 

What data does your scanning solution store?

All profile information for each attendee is already stored on the system. When an attendee is scanned, their check-in date and time is stored against their registration for the event, and also their attendance to particular sessions they attend. 

You’ll be able to see that Jane Doe attended 4 sessions at your event in X rooms using the real time reports.

How many people do I need to be scanners at my event?

It depends. Usually scanning is broken down into 2 areas:

  1. Event check-in
  2. Session check-in

You may only be using one type of scanning metric. 

For event check-in you’ll want to ensure that you have enough people to scan the amount of attendees arriving for your event. Typically, your 1st hour will be the busiest, then it will slow down, so you’ll need to ensure you have more scanners available for your 1st hour than the rest of your event. Typically a scanner can scan 10-12 people a minute.

If you’re using room scanning, you’ll need at least 1 scanner per room per session. A room capacity of 100 people will require 1 scanner, while a room of 5000 people will require 10 scanners at least.

Don’t worry though, if you choose our managed service, we will work out all this for you and provide you with the right amount of staff for your event.

Who are your scanning staff?

The majority of our scanning staff are seasonal agency workers. They are pre-interviewed and selected from our trusted recruitment agency.

Every event is covered with a full time employee of Just Attend. We will train the staff onsite the day before your event, show them to their stations and provide them with an event brief.

Throughout your event, they are constantly monitored by our employed staff to ensure they are performing their tasks professionally and for any technical issues that may be experienced.

Our standard dress code is white shirt, black trousers and shoes. We can wear your event branded attire if needed.
