So far this year (2024) we have seen a massive increase in the use of AI to generate content for conference session proposals.
Unchecked AI generated content being submitted in call for papers places a huge burden on conference organizers that costs them time in session evaluations and can leave them hoodwinked.
Left unchecked, AI generated session content will have a negative affect on events and attendee satisfaction as speakers struggle to deliver sessions their content promises or worse, the content makes no factual sense.
We believe AI should be used as an assistant, not a replacement. Using AI responsibly to set out a framework you can build upon we see as a good thing.

Just Attend is excited to announce the release of our AI content detector for session submissions, available to all customers in all plans.
Our AI detector will evaluate each session submission and determine how much content within that submission has been AI generated vs human generated.
This is shown in a percentage score.
Using our AI Content Detector organizers are better prepared to evaluate sessions against their criteria and can perform the necessary checks to ensure authenticity and accuracy of a session proposal, applying extra validation where needed.
The aim of the detector isn’t to influence the Organizer’s decision making process but to enrich it and make it fairer to assess sessions.
Ultimately if an Organizer wishes to approve a 100% AI generated content submission because it meets their criteria, that is their prerogative.
