With Just Attend you don’t need a WordPress site. Instead you can use the event platform as your entire event website if you want.
The reason we created a WordPress plugin was for event organizers who wanted more design control on the frontend than the Just Attend platform offers.
Using WordPress to frontend your event marketing can make a lot more sense if you want complete brand and design control on how your prospective attendees browse your event and make purchasing decisions.
The WordPress plugin allows you to display your event schedule, exhibitors, and speakers on your website.
Think of it as your shop window display to prospective attendees.
Attendees will need to use the Just Attend platform to register and buy a ticket as well as participate in the event. However, the WordPress plugin does make it easy for them to navigate from your site to the Just Attend platform when they’re ready to buy.
The plugin will automatically update the content every 1 hour using the built-in WordPress cron function.
If you want to make an urgent update, you can use the admin setting in WordPress to force a content synchronization whenever you want.
All editing and adding of content must be done in the Just Attend admin portal and not in WordPress.
Editing content in WordPress will not be replicated back to Just Attend and will be overwritten the next time the plugin syncs with the platform.
Adding content to WordPress such as an additional session will show on your WordPress site. However, this will not be synced to Just Attend and will be missing on the attendee mobile app, digital room agenda screens, and the Just Attend platform itself.
The WordPress plugin is available free of charge and will work with any event on our platform.
