How Our Plans Work & Choosing The Right One

Updated on July 28, 2024

All of our plans are charged on a per event basis and are limited by user registration (consumption). When you choose any of our plans, you benefit from all features within the platform. There are no feature distinctions between the free plan and our highest priced plan.

What is a registration?

A registration is any user of your conference that has or had a ticket to attend your event. These could be:

  • Attendee
  • Speaker
  • Exhibitor Booth Staff Member
  • Press member
  • Event Staff

Once a ticket has been issued to a person, this counts as a consumed registration.

Important – registration consumption is calculated as soon as a ticket is issued. If you cancel a ticket, this isn’t credited back to your remaining registration balance.

Types of users who aren’t classified as a registration are:

  • Event platform administrators without a ticket
  • Exhibitor administrators without a ticket
  • Users who have registered an account to submit sessions by call for content who aren’t registered as speakers

What if I go over my registration limit?

We offer tiered plans for events of different sizes that give you a guaranteed maximum amount of registrations. You can upgrade between plans at any time by paying the difference between your current plan and selected new plan.

When your current plan reached 95% of your plan’s registration limit you will be prompted to upgrade. If you feel that your event will exceed your plan limits, you should upgrade immediately to avoid disruption to your registration.

If you fail to upgrade before your plan’s limit has been reached we offer a 2% burst over your plan limits (except for the free plan) so that you have time to upgrade without affecting your registration capabilities.

The following table shows the burst threshold of each plan

PlanNumber of Burst Registrations
Free0
Seed5
Sprout10
Grow20
Bloom40

If you fail to upgrade your plan before the burst threshold has been reached, registrations for your event will be suspended.

When suspended, no new users can be registered either manually in the conference admin portal, exhibitor self service, or purchase tickets that might be available in the front-end.

All existing registration holders will be able to use the platform without limitation and all features will be available.

Which Plan Should I Choose?

You should choose the plan that best meets your conference registration goals as this will avoid any unnecessary restrictions.

You can calculate the number of registration licenses you need by using the calculator below:

If this is your first time using Just Attend or if this is your first ever event and you aren’t sure how many registrations you need, we recommend that you choose the free plan to begin with.

The free plan gives you full access to our entire platform features but is limited to 50 registrations.

Often as conference organizers you have to acquire software before earning revenue from ticket or exhibitor sales.

Using the free plan enables you to begin using the system at the same time as fundraising so that you don’t need to invest upfront before you even know if your event is secured.

What if I don’t use all my plan’s registrations?

Any unused registrations in your plan will expire when your event ends. You won’t be able to carry these forward to your next event or be credited back to you pro-rata either by refund or credit note.

You should ensure that you select the right plan for your event.

To limit the risk of overspending on plans, we recommend that you choose our lowest plan first, then upgrade through the available plan tiers as your event grows.

What happens at the end of my event?

As soon as your event start date has arrived you won’t be able to modify the start and end date of that event or add any more tickets to that event.

You will be able to modify any existing tickets such as availability and price, but changing dates will not be possible.

Your event will still continue to operate as normal and you will have full control over its features and capability.
