AI is an increasingly useful tool for creating a structured outline for content whether that is a PowerPoint presentation or in this case, a session submission to an event.
We believe AI should be used responsibly and as an assistant, not a replacement of human intellect and value.
Across our events we have seen an increase in unedited AI content submitted to events as session proposals.
We believe you as an event organizer should be made aware when submissions include AI generated content and how much content is AI generated so that you can make better decisions in your session evaluations.
Our AI Content Detector can be enabled on your call for speakers module.
When enabled, each time a session proposal is submitted or edited it is evaluated by our AI Detector which provides sentiment on how much of the session content is AI generated.
The following table explains the scoring criteria
Amount of AI Content Detected | Indicator |
---|---|
0 – 54.9% | Green – Contains some AI but at least half of the content is human input |
55 – 84.9% | Amber – Contains mostly AI generated content with only minor human input / correction |
85 – 100% | Red – Almost all content has been AI generated with little to no human correction or input |
Our AI Content Detector should be used as a tool to help you approach your evaluations with caution. We strongly recommend that you spend an appropriate amount of time ensuring the submission meets your criteria, is factually correct, and you feel it is deliverable within your event parameters.
We don’t recommend that you use this tool as a primary decision maker or automatic eliminator in your session evaluations.
