AI Content Detection

Updated on August 6, 2024

AI is an increasingly useful tool for creating a structured outline for content whether that is a PowerPoint presentation or in this case, a session submission to an event.

We believe AI should be used responsibly and as an assistant, not a replacement of human intellect and value.

Across our events we have seen an increase in unedited AI content submitted to events as session proposals.

We believe you as an event organizer should be made aware when submissions include AI generated content and how much content is AI generated so that you can make better decisions in your session evaluations.

Our AI Content Detector can be enabled on your call for speakers module.

When enabled, each time a session proposal is submitted or edited it is evaluated by our AI Detector which provides sentiment on how much of the session content is AI generated.

The following table explains the scoring criteria

Amount of AI Content DetectedIndicator
0 – 54.9%Green – Contains some AI but at least half of the content is human input
55 – 84.9%Amber – Contains mostly AI generated content with only minor human input / correction
85 – 100%Red – Almost all content has been AI generated with little to no human correction or input

Our AI Content Detector should be used as a tool to help you approach your evaluations with caution. We strongly recommend that you spend an appropriate amount of time ensuring the submission meets your criteria, is factually correct, and you feel it is deliverable within your event parameters.

We don’t recommend that you use this tool as a primary decision maker or automatic eliminator in your session evaluations.

Limits

AI Content Detector is included in all paid plans up to a limit of 15,000 words. Additional credits are available to purchase for $10.00 per 10,000 words.

If you’re using our free plan, you can purchase AI Content Detection for $15.00 per 10,000 evaluated words.

As a barometer, the average word count per 100 sessions submissions is around 7,500 to 9,000 words combined.
