We are pleased to announce the release of our newest badge printing kiosk software that comes packed with new and improved features to help you check-in and print your attendee badges faster and with less data errors.
For existing customers we recommend you update the version installed to the latest one available.
Simplified Kiosk Ready Screen

We have removed the need for attendees without a ticket QR code to press a button to search for their ticket by name or email address. Now attendees can scan their QR code or type directly into the same field without leaving the screen.
This improves usability and check-in speeds.
Group Ticket Number Support
The kiosk can now support group ticket numbers. This is where your registration system issues a single ticket number to your event for all attendees who registered under the same order. When they arrive, each of them have the same QR code or ticket number.

Now with this version of the kiosk software, each attendee in the group can scan their ticket QR code, select their name, and print their badge. If the group arrives at the same time, the leader can print all badges contained within the group at once which helps to reduce check-in times and keep your queues moving freely.
Attendee Self-Edit Badges
At every event, at least 10–15% of attendees are unhappy with the information printed on their badges. Between registration and arrival, people may change their name, job title, or company, or they may have simply entered their details incorrectly when signing up.
These errors cost you money. You need extra ink and badges to cover reprints. Materials that often end up in the trash. They also cost you time and staff resources. Fixing these mistakes requires a dedicated help desk to process updates and reprints. Hiring staff adds expense, and even volunteers could be spending their time on more valuable tasks. Meanwhile, attendees become frustrated by delays and may worry about missing important sessions.
Our kiosk now supports attendee self-service for editing their own badge. This capability must be enabled by you as the organizer. It is disabled by default.
When enabled it will give the attendee a visual of how their badge will look when printed and the opportunity to change the information on the badge. Any changes they make are written back to the system back-end for full traceability.

Localization & Terminology
With our software now being used in many countries, customers have asked for better regionalized support for languages and terminology. With this release, you will be able to customize all button and message text the kiosk will display to the attendees including warnings, successes, and errors.

You can change this in the admin settings for the kiosk.
Other Notes
In addition to the major changes in this release the following smaller features have been implemented or retired.
- Added the ability for you to specify a number of blank badges to be printed when bulk printing.
- Webcam QR code scanning – Due to lack of use of this feature and it’s functional use, we have removed the scan QR code by webcam feature. Scanning QR codes are now only supported using USB or Bluetooth 2D Barcode scanners.
- To improve the usability for check-in reporting, timeline graphs are now in intervals of 5 minutes instead of 1 minute. This will help give you a clearer picture of your check-in flow.
- Fixed an issue with check-in count where an attendee has more than one ticket affecting the totals displayed
